Play Frankenstein Online
You play as both Frankenstein and his monster—solving puzzles as the doc, then smashing through enemies as the hulking creature. The janky rotoscoped animations and gothic labs give it this eerie stop-motion charm.

Game Overview
Frankenstein on SNES is basically Castlevania with a gothic horror twist—you’re stomping through gloomy villages and creepy labs, whipping candles for health while dodging villagers who really don’t like your monster pal. The rotoscoped animations give everything this weird, janky-but-cool look, like the characters are moving in stop-motion.
At first, you switch between playing as the doctor (brains) and the monster (brawn), which changes up how you tackle enemies—puzzles vs. smashing. Some of the platforming’s a little stiff, but the atmosphere nails that old-school Universal Monsters vibe. Also, there’s a weird storyteller gimmick where a narrator pops in between levels like a horror audiobook. Not essential, but kinda charming.
It’s definitely one of those "flawed but interesting" movie tie-ins that SNES collectors hunt down.
