Game Overview

You're sneaking through Frankenstein's castle at night—all flickering Atari graphics and that eerie silence between sound effects. Your job? Stop the doc from finishing his monster by hauling stones from the dungeon up to the tower, building a barricade before the thing wakes up. Sounds simple until you meet the giant tarantulas.

Starting at the top, you work your way down through trapdoors and acid pools (lose a life if you splash into that), dodging ghosts and spiders that drain your points. Grab a stone, then haul it back up while everything gets more aggressive—more ghosts, bigger spiders, bats swarming when you reach the tower. Four stones total, each trip harder than the last.

Two-player mode lets you suffer together, and the difficulty switches change the timer: five minutes on A, eight-and-a-half on B. Points vanish fast—fall through a trapdoor? That's -100. Acid bath? -200 and a life gone. But successfully walling in the monster feels weirdly satisfying for such a janky little game.

It's clunky, stressful, and exactly what you'd expect from a 2600 horror game.
