Game Overview

Monster Bash III is that kind of punishing-but-fair platformer where you’ll die a lot, but somehow keep coming back. Johnny Dash—basically a kid with a slingshot and way too much courage—has to rescue animals from demons, which sounds ridiculous until you see the first level’s giant spiders and floating skulls. The controls are tight, so when you miss a jump, it’s definitely your fault.

The levels get meaner as you go, throwing in disappearing platforms and enemies that pop out of nowhere. I still remember getting stuck on the third stage’s moving gears for way too long. But there’s something satisfying about finally nailing a tricky section after the 20th try. And yeah, the pixel art holds up—those gloomy castles and graveyards have this weirdly charming 90s Apogee vibe.

If you’ve played Ghosts 'n Goblins, you’ll recognize the pain (and the fun). Just don’t expect it to go easy on you.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
