Play Gauntlet & Rampart (U)(Trashman) Online
Dungeon-crawling in Gauntlet means swarming skeletons while your health drains, then Rampart has you frantically rebuilding castle walls under cannon fire—total whiplash, weirdly perfect together.

I picked up Gauntlet & Rampart on Game Boy Advance back when it came out, a two-in-one cart that bundled Midway's arcade classics. It was a straightforward port, no frills, just the games as they were, which felt right for the GBA's library at the time. You got two very different experiences for the price of one, and that was the main draw.
In Gauntlet, you pick a warrior, elf, wizard, or valkyrie and dive into maze-like dungeons, fighting endless waves of ghosts and grunts. Your health constantly ticks down, so you're always hunting for food while fending off enemies and hunting for keys to exit each level. Rampart shifts gears completely: you're rebuilding castle walls between rounds, placing cannons to defend against invading ships, then aiming and firing in a timed assault phase. The pace swings from methodical to frantic, and both games demand quick decisions. It's a satisfying mix of tension and strategy that holds up surprisingly well.
