Game Overview

GB Genjin—or Bonk’s Revenge, if you grew up outside Japan—is one of those Game Boy games that just oozes personality. You play as this tiny, big-headed caveman who basically uses his skull as a wrecking ball, smashing through enemies and bouncing off walls like a hyperactive toddler on a sugar rush. The levels are short but packed with little secrets, and half the fun is figuring out how to bonk your way into hidden areas.

It’s got that classic Bonk feel—fast, chaotic, and weirdly satisfying when you pull off a perfect head-bounce combo. The controls are tight, and the enemies are just goofy enough to make you laugh when you flatten them. Some of the later stages get surprisingly tough, but in that "one more try" kind of way. If you’ve got a soft spot for 90s platformers, this one’s a blast.

Also, the music is weirdly catchy. You’ve been warned.
