You control the knight Arthur, moving screen by screen through haunted lands to rescue the princess from the demon king. You throw lances at oncoming enemies, but can also find other weapons like daggers or axes in treasure chests. Finding the golden armor lets you charge up for a more powerful magical attack. The game moves at a relentless pace, and the difficulty is punishing; one hit strips your armor, a second kills you. It feels tense and demanding, a constant test of reflexes and memory.
