Grapple Cat is one of those weird little Flash games that somehow sticks with you. You play as this lazy ninja cat chilling on the beach—until a massive tsunami shows up and ruins everything. Now you’ve gotta swing, jump, and grapple your way to safety using just your mouse. Hold left-click to latch onto stuff, release to fling yourself forward. It’s simple, but the timing gets tricky when waves are crashing and platforms are breaking apart.
At first I kept overshooting jumps or missing grapples entirely, but once you get the rhythm, swinging between palm trees and wreckage feels surprisingly smooth. The art’s got that rough Flash charm, all wobbly lines and exaggerated animations. Honestly, I just like how the cat looks mildly annoyed the whole time.
It’s short, chaotic, and exactly what you’d expect from a game about a disgruntled ninja cat escaping natural disasters.
