Gulp!_Disk1 is one of those weirdly charming Amiga games where you're basically a fish traffic controller. Earth's underwater (classic '90s doom scenario), and these aquatic aliens—led by Captain Gulp—are trying to save us by navigating maze-like pipes. It’s like Lemmings, but with more bubbles and way more accidental drownings.

You start with a little school of fish swimming mindlessly forward, and your job is to assign them roles—some dig tunnels, others block currents, a few just stand there looking decorative. The real trick is figuring out the right sequence to flip switches so the water flows where you need it. Mess up, and suddenly half your crew is stuck in a dead-end pipe while the timer ticks down. Later levels get brutal, forcing you to split the group and multitask like some kind of underwater air traffic controller.

It’s janky in that old-school way where the physics sometimes glitch, but there’s something satisfying about finally getting the water level just right to propel your last fish to safety.
