Game Overview
Gulp! Disk2 came out for the Amiga in 1994 from International Computer Entertainment Ltd. It was a puzzle game that fit right in with the kind of clever, thoughtful titles the Amiga was known for at the time, especially if you enjoyed games that made you stop and plan. It drew some inspiration from Lemmings, but with its own watery twist.
You control a school of fish, each with a specific role, and your job is to guide water through a series of pipes to reach the exit. You assign fish to different tasks; some might block water flow, others change its direction, and some activate switches. The puzzles are screen by screen, and you often work against a timer, which keeps the pressure on. It feels satisfying when your plan comes together and the water flows just right.
