Gulp! is this weirdly charming Amiga puzzle game where you’re basically a fish traffic controller. Earth’s doomed, some underwater aliens take pity on us, and suddenly you’re guiding their little fish crew through these maze-like tubes full of switches and currents. At first it feels like a watery Lemmings—you assign jobs to certain fish (diggers, blockers, that sort of thing), but then it gets trickier when you realize the water physics actually matter. Flip a switch too early and half your squad gets flushed into a dead end.

The later levels get brutal—you’ll be splitting fish into teams, timing switch flips just right, and cursing when one straggler misses the exit by half a second. It’s got that classic “easy to learn, nightmare to master” thing going on. Also, Captain Gulp’s pixelated fish face staring at you while the timer ticks down is low-key stressful in the best way.
