Hangzo throws you straight into this neon maze where you're dodging spinning blades and hopping over pits—it feels like someone took the best parts of 80s arcade games and cranked up the speed. The first time I played, I smacked right into a moving wall because I didn't realize how slippery the controls are (in a good way—it forces you to actually learn the timing).
Those little power-up icons look like cassette tapes, which is a nice touch. Grabbing one gives you a temporary speed boost or makes you invincible for a few seconds—just long enough to mess up and crash into the next obstacle anyway. The music's all synthy bleeps that somehow make failing feel less frustrating.
It's the kind of game where you'll immediately hit retry because "this time I'll get further." And then suddenly it's been 45 minutes.
