Play Humans, The (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) Online
Guide clumsy cavemen through puzzles—watch them trip over rocks at first, then slowly learn to build bridges and outsmart traps with torches and spears. That "aha!" moment when your human ladder finally works? Pure gold.

Humans, The (Europe) came out on Game Boy in 1992, developed by Imagitec Design. It was part of that wave of puzzle platformers that really made you think on the small screen, without a lot of flash, just solid mechanics and a clear goal. You don't see many games quite like it now, but back then it fit right in with the kind of thoughtful, sometimes frustrating experiences that handhelds offered.
You control a tribe of early humans, guiding them through side scrolling levels filled with environmental obstacles. Your main objective is to lead them safely from the start to the exit, which often requires careful coordination between your characters. Key mechanics include having your humans stack on top of one another to form ladders or bridges, and using tools like spears and torches to trigger switches or defend against creatures. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty comes from figuring out the order of actions and managing your limited resources. It feels satisfying when a plan comes together after a few failed attempts.
