Game Overview
Remember that weird little puzzle game on Genesis where you controlled a bunch of cavemen? Humans was one of those "wait, how does this even work?" games at first—you start with these little dudes who can barely climb a ledge, and suddenly you're stacking them into human ladders to reach higher ground. The first few levels trick you into thinking it's simple, then bam, you're trying to figure out how to get the spear before the dinosaur gets you.
What I love is how each tool changes everything—give them a torch and suddenly they can burn through obstacles, but good luck not setting your own guys on fire by accident. The DS version never quite captured the same janky charm as the Genesis original, though. It's one of those games where failing is half the fun, especially when your entire tribe gets crushed by a rolling boulder because someone misplaced a rock.
Still holds up if you like your puzzles with a side of prehistoric chaos.
