Play Humans, The (Germany) Online
Guide a gang of clumsy cavemen through physics puzzles—stack bodies into ladders, pass torches, and try not to get eaten while they stare at rocks like confused toddlers.

Humans, The came out for the Super Nintendo in 1992, developed by Imagitec Design. It was part of that early wave of puzzle platformers on the system, games that leaned more on clever ideas than flashy graphics or speed. You don't see many titles like it anymore, where the challenge comes from managing a group's simple, stubborn behaviors.
You control a tribe of early humans, guiding them one by one through side-scrolling prehistoric landscapes. The main goal is to get your entire group from the start of a level to the exit, which often involves navigating past obstacles, hostile animals, and environmental hazards. Key mechanics include picking up and using objects like torches and rocks, and most notably, having your cavemen climb on top of each other to form living ladders to reach higher areas. The game moves at a deliberate, sometimes frustrating pace, as your characters are not very bright and require precise, patient input. It feels like herding a group of curious, easily distracted children through a dangerous world.
