Game Overview
Hungry Joe is this weird little PSP anniversary game where you run around grabbing recipes like some kind of culinary raccoon. The map's different every time, which keeps it from getting stale, and there's something hilarious about fighting off enemies just to snag a pancake recipe.
Controls are dead simple—arrows to move, space to pull up your map or use recipes in battle. At first I thought the recipe collecting would get old fast, but there's something weirdly satisfying about hunting down all 150 of them. Some are easy finds, others take actual work—like that one time I had to fight three onion knights just to learn how to make French onion soup.
It's janky in that classic Flash game way, but that's part of the charm. You'll either love it or wonder why you're even playing.
