This Amiga cricket game nails the vibe of early '90s one-day matches, complete with real player names and rules that feel surprisingly authentic for the era. You pick from eight national teams (Australia, England, West Indies, etc.) and jump straight into either batting or bowling—though I always go for batting first because smashing boundaries with proper timing is weirdly satisfying.

The controls take a minute to get used to—you’re not just pressing buttons, but actually judging power and angles for every shot or bowl. Fielding’s a bit chaotic since you control whoever’s closest to the ball, which leads to some hilarious misfields when you overcorrect. CPU difficulty scales well, so even if you’re new to cricket games, you won’t get steamrolled immediately.

It’s not flashy by modern standards, but there’s something charming about the straightforward gameplay. Just don’t expect fancy animations when your batsman gets clean bowled—it’s all business.
