Download International Golf_Disk3 ROM – Amiga Game
Top-down golf sim with two 18-hole courses. Three modes: Practice, Tournament (65 AI golfers), Head-to-Head. 14 clubs, swing meter mechanics, mouse-controlled shot adjustments. Supports 1-4 players. Amiga, 1995.
International Golf on the Amiga is one of those classic top-down golf sims that somehow makes pixelated greens feel oddly satisfying. You get two full 18-hole courses—Riviera Country Club and Sterling Shores—and honestly, Sterling Shores has this one brutal par 5 that still haunts me. The mouse controls take a minute to get used to (menus for everything, even picking your club), but once you figure out the swing meter timing, it clicks.
You can play solo in practice mode to work on drives or putting, go head-to-head against the AI, or dive into a full tournament with 65 golfers—though only four can be human players. The real fun is in the little details, like how the ball slices if your swing meter stops slightly off-center, or the way the interface shifts completely when you finally reach the green. Suddenly, it’s all about reading slopes and nailing that putt.
It’s not flashy, but there’s something weirdly addictive about lining up the perfect shot and watching that little ball roll exactly where you hoped it would.
