Play James Pond 3- Operation Starfish Online
You stretch and fling James Pond like a rubber band through bizarre levels, stealing stars from toaster enemies and piloting random vehicles—pure 90s Genesis weirdness.
James Pond 3: Operation Starfish is one of those weird, wonderful Genesis games that feels like it was dreamed up after too much tea and cartoons. You play as a stretchy fish spy (because why not?) trying to stop a villain from literally stealing stars—classic 90s logic. The controls take a minute to get used to—Pond’s elastic body whips around like a rubber band—but once it clicks, bouncing off walls and snagging hidden items feels oddly satisfying.
Some levels throw vehicles at you (a submarine, a spaceship), others play like mini puzzle-platformers, and the boss fights are straight out of Mega Man’s playbook. It’s got that British humor too—dry one-liners and enemies like walking toasters. Not every idea lands perfectly, but the sheer creativity makes up for the occasional clunky moment. If you’ve got nostalgia for bright, chaotic platformers, this one’s worth digging up.
