Play Jetsons Online

George Jetson bumbles through colorful, clunky levels with a jetpack that handles like a shopping cart, dodging rogue appliances while Rosie wobbles in to "help." It's all space-age charm and floaty jumps that somehow feel just right.

Game Overview

I picked up Jetsons for the Game Boy back in 1992, a time when licensed games were a real gamble. Natsume developed it, and it was one of those titles that felt very much of its era, trying to capture the spirit of the cartoon on a tiny screen. You control George Jetson, and the goal is to rescue his family after they get scattered across different futuristic locations by a malfunctioning transporter.

You move through levels screen by screen, using a jetpack to navigate platforms and avoid obstacles. The jetpack has a unique, floaty feel that takes some getting used to; it's not precise, but it becomes manageable. You collect items like Elroy's glasses and Judy's hair dryer to progress, and you occasionally get help from Rosie the robot, though her pathing can be unpredictable. The game isn't overly long, but some sections demand patience due to the controls and enemy placement. Playing it feels like gently guiding a cheerful, slightly clumsy cartoon through a series of small, contained puzzles.
