Kageki is this weird little arcade brawler where you’re basically stuck in a never-ending street fight against a biker gang. The first time I played, I got wrecked by some goon with a mohawk—turns out you gotta figure out the timing for dodges and parries fast, or you’ll eat pavement.
Matches start with a mob of weaker guys swarming you, then ramp up to one-on-one fights against the gang’s leaders. Each boss takes three knockouts to put down, and they don’t play fair. The controls feel a little stiff at first, but once you get the hang of combos (mashing buttons strategically), it clicks.
Visually, it’s got that chunky super-deformed style—imagine bobblehead thugs throwing haymakers. The arena’s small, so you’re always backed into a corner, dodging and countering. It’s brutal, but weirdly satisfying when you finally take down the last guy.
