Knightmare Disk2 came out on the Amiga in 1991, published by Mindscape International Ltd. It was part of that wave of early 90s games that tried to bring a more interactive, almost puzzle-like adventure feel to home computers, standing out with its direct link to the British children's TV show. You didn't see many games attempting that kind of licensed adaptation with such a specific, quirky format back then.

You control a knight, guiding them through a first-person perspective dungeon one screen at a time. The main goal is to retrieve four artifacts to ultimately defeat the evil Lord Fear. The mouse-driven combat is a signature feature; you click on different parts of the enemy sprite to attack high or low, block, or use your bow. You explore room by room, solving environmental puzzles, avoiding traps, and managing your limited inventory of items like keys and food. The game allows you to save at any moment, which is a relief because the difficulty is quite unforgiving, with instant death lurking around many corners. It feels like a tense, methodical crawl through a hostile and unpredictable world where every click matters.
