Koopa’s back for round two, and this time Bowser’s the one in trouble. Right after saving his Goomba buddies in the first game, some random airship swoops in and kidnaps the big guy. Koopa hops into his own ship to chase ‘em down, only to get shot out of the sky and crash on some weird island. That’s where you come in.
First thing you’ll see? A warp pipe (classic) and a tutorial door. The tutorial’s actually worth doing, I skipped it at first and immediately faceplanted into the first enemy. Controls are simple, but there’s a trick to timing jumps when those floating platforms start moving. Also, watch out for the piranha plants. They’re sneaky.
It’s got that old-school Flash game charm, janky but in a way that makes you grin when you finally nail a tricky section.
