Play Kyros Online
You play as Mac busting through a haunted castle, punching goons and grabbing their weapons—swords feel best—while hunting for kids trapped in mirrors. The place loops back on itself, and those brief invincible moments after freeing a kid? Perfect when you're drowning in enemies.

Konami released Kyros in arcades back in 1987, a time when side-scrolling action games were really starting to define the platform. It was one of those games you’d see wedged between more popular titles, but it had a certain charm that made you drop a coin in.
You control a warrior exploring a large, interconnected castle, moving screen by screen and fighting off monsters with a sword or other weapons you pick up. The main goal is to find and rescue children trapped inside magic mirrors scattered throughout the fortress. Two mechanics stand out: the way the castle loops and connects, encouraging backtracking once you have new items, and the brief moment of invincibility you get after freeing a child, which helps when you’re overwhelmed. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty is pretty unforgiving if you rush in. It feels tense and exploratory, like you’re slowly carving a path through something much larger than yourself.
