Leander_Disk1 is one of those classic Amiga platformers where you play as a sword-swinging hero charging through mutant-infested levels. The controls are straightforward—slash, jump, dodge—but things get tense when you accidentally grab a skull icon and suddenly Thanatos’ ghostly minion starts chasing you. (Rune bombs help, but good luck staying calm when that thing’s on your tail.)
I like how the upgrades feel meaningful—grabbing armor pieces actually changes how you look, and the shop lets you swap weapons if you’ve hoarded enough coins. The password system’s a lifesaver too, since some of those later jumps are brutal. Just don’t expect the princess to thank you until you’ve hacked through all three worlds first.
