You play as this sword-wielding hero charging through mutant-infested worlds to rescue Princess Lucanna from the big bad Thanatos. At first, it feels like a straightforward platformer—slash, jump, repeat—but then you start finding these weird icons. Some upgrade your armor, others give you extra lives, and then there are the skulls. Oh man, grab one of those by accident, and suddenly Thanatos’ ghostly minion pops up, forcing you to scramble for Rune Bombs before it wrecks you.
The shop’s a nice touch—spend coins on better weapons between levels, though I always end up hoarding them until I really need an upgrade. And thank goodness for the password system, because those later stages get brutal. Three worlds might not sound like much, but each one’s packed with enough traps and creepy creatures to keep you on your toes. Just watch out for those skulls—trust me on that.
