Lotus III on the Amiga is one of those racing games that feels way ahead of its time. You’ve got these slick, colorful tracks that twist through forests, deserts, and even futuristic cityscapes—all with that smooth Amiga scrolling that made it feel like magic back in the day. The handling’s a bit arcade-y, but in a good way; you can powerslide around corners like you’re on rails if you get the timing right.
What I love is how the tracks change depending on which car you pick—some are better for tight turns, others just blast straight ahead. Took me a few tries to figure out which one suited my reckless driving style. And the music? Pure late '80s synth energy, the kind that sticks in your head for hours after you turn it off.
