You control a little character who has to win the affection of a girl by collecting hearts while avoiding a swarm of jealous robot ducks. The main objective is to gather all the hearts on each single-screen stage before a timer runs out. Your primary tools are a limited supply of roses you can throw to temporarily freeze the ducks in place, and power-up items that appear, like a book that makes you invincible for a short time. The pacing is frantic; the ducks multiply and get faster, quickly flooding the screen and making pathfinding a real challenge.
