Luigi Castle On Fire is one of those old Flash games that looks simple until you actually play it. You control Luigi, no power-ups, no backup, just a scared plumber in a creepy castle packed with spikes, fireballs, and enemies that seem to pop up exactly where you don’t want them.
The first few screens trick you into thinking it’s manageable, but then the floor starts crumbling, flames shoot out of nowhere, and suddenly you’re back at the start of the room again. There are extra lives hidden around, but trust me, you’ll burn through them fast. The controls are tight, though, so when you die (and you will), it usually feels like your fault, not the game’s.
It’s short but brutal, the kind of game where you’ll memorize trap patterns after a dozen tries. Perfect for when you want something punishing but satisfying to beat.
