Luigi finally gets his moment—you guide his floaty jumps through weird little levels, then boot Toads into the stratosphere or juggle Goombas like some deranged soccer game. It’s janky in that perfect Flash game way.

Luigi's Revenge is one of those weird little Flash games that sticks with you. You start off controlling Luigi—finally the star for once—as he stomps through six levels of classic platforming with a twist. The physics feel just slightly off in that way Flash games always do, but it works because Luigi’s always been the awkward brother anyway.
Story mode’s solid, but the real gems are the bonus modes. Toad Massacre is exactly what it sounds like—just Luigi booting helpless Toads into oblivion for points. Kickups is this bizarre soccer minigame where you juggle Goombas. Both are stupid fun in the best way. It’s janky, but the kind of jank that makes you laugh instead of rage-quit.
Honestly, for a random Flash game, it’s got more personality than half the Mario spin-offs Nintendo’s put out.
