Manhunter 2: San Francisco drops you right into the chaos after New York’s cliffhanger—your stolen ship crashes near the Golden Gate Bridge, and suddenly you’re undercover as a Manhunter again. The Orbs are still running their creepy alien regime, but now everything’s draped in that foggy Bay Area gloom. Coit Tower’s got some weird orb modifications, Alcatraz looks even more sinister, and yeah, there’s still a serial killer leaving bodies around.
You’ll poke through alleys and landmarks with that same eerie first-person investigation, using the MAD tracker to follow leads. The puzzles feel familiar if you played the first one, but there’s new twists—like figuring out who to trust in the human resistance while hunting down Phil. And yeah, those arcade sections are back (still can’t skip ‘em), though at least there’s an easier mode now if you just want the story.
It’s all point-and-click, no typing, so you can focus on soaking up the dystopian ‘80s vibe. Just watch your back—the Orbs aren’t the only ones hiding things.
