Play Marble Madness on GBC Online
Tilt your way through maze-like courses, barely keeping your marble on track as the clock runs down—one wrong move and you're plummeting off the edge. The two-player races are pure panic-fueled mayhem.

Marble Madness on the Game Boy Color came out in 1999, developed by Tiertex Design Studios. It was a portable take on the classic arcade game, arriving in an era when many older arcade titles were getting handheld adaptations. The game fits right in with the kind of quick, challenging experiences that felt at home on the GBC.
You control a marble through a series of isometric race tracks, trying to reach the goal before time expires. The main objective is to navigate each course without falling off the edges or getting stopped by enemies. Key mechanics include tilting the course to steer your marble, avoiding obstacles like acid pits and moving foes, and sometimes using power-ups for a brief speed boost. The pacing is relentless; the timer is always counting down, and the courses demand precise movements. It feels like a constant, tense battle against both the clock and the layout of the track itself.
