Game Overview
Marvin's Marvellous Adventure on the Amiga is one of those platformers that feels like it was made by someone who really loved the genre. You start off as Marvin—this little guy with a big mustache—jumping between floating islands and dodging weird, bouncy enemies. The controls are tight, and the levels get surprisingly tricky after the first few screens.
What stuck with me was the music—cheery synth tunes that somehow never got old, even after dying to the same spike trap five times. The second disk ramps things up with some wild boss fights, including this giant bouncing eyeball that still gives me nightmares. If you’ve got an Amiga or an emulator, it’s worth dusting off for an afternoon.
