Game Overview
Marvin's Marvellous Adventure on the Amiga is one of those weird, charming platformers that feels like it was dreamed up in the middle of the night. You play as Marvin, a little guy with a big nose and an even bigger jump, bouncing between floating islands and dodging enemies that look like rejected toy designs. The controls are floaty in that classic Amiga way—takes a minute to get used to, but once you do, it’s oddly satisfying to nail those long jumps.
The fourth disk in the series throws in some new enemies and a few surprise mechanics, like teleporters that fling you across the screen if you’re not careful. The music’s got that chippy, slightly off-key charm too. Not gonna lie, some of the level designs are brutal, but in a way that makes you want to try just one more time. Definitely a nostalgia trip if you grew up with these kinds of games.
