Marvin's Marvellous Adventure on the Amiga is one of those weird, charming platformers that feels like it was dreamed up at 3 AM. You play as Marvin, a little guy with a big nose and even bigger jumps, hopping across floating islands and dodging enemies that look like rejected toy designs. The controls are floaty in that old-school way—takes a minute to get used to, but once you do, bouncing between platforms feels oddly satisfying.
The third disk ramps things up with some seriously creative level designs—think spinning gears, disappearing platforms, and at least one boss fight that made me yell at my screen. The music’s got that classic Amiga chiptune energy, too. It’s not the most polished game out there, but there’s something endearing about its janky creativity. If you’ve got an Amiga emulator handy, it’s worth a look just for the weird vibes.
