Medal Of Honor - Underground (Sir VG) (E) is a GBA port of the PS1 WWII shooter, and it's... rough. The controls feel stiff, like you're fighting the d-pad as much as the Nazis. The first mission drops you into a dimly lit alley where enemies pop in awkwardly, sometimes shooting before they're fully on screen.

It tries to capture the tension of sneaking behind enemy lines, but the tiny sprites make it hard to tell if you're hidden or just lucky. I remember one mission where I spent ten minutes crawling through trenches, only to get instantly gunned down by an off-screen MG nest. The war wasn't fair, but neither is this.

Still, there's something oddly compelling about its janky take on WWII espionage. Just don't expect the polish of the console versions.
