Game Overview

Medal of Honor: Underground on GBA takes you back to WWII, but this time you're not the usual soldier—you're Manon Batiste, the French resistance fighter who gave you missions in the original game. It's a prequel, so the war's just heating up, and you're part of a scrappy rebel group causing trouble for the Germans.

The missions are tense—you'll sneak through bombed-out streets, crack safes with help from NPCs (who actually feel useful), and dodge way more than just foot soldiers. Tanks roll in unexpectedly, motorcycles zip past, and the enemy AI isn’t just dumb cannon fodder. They flank, take cover, and sometimes make you rethink your approach.

There’s a decent variety of weapons, from pistols to rifles, all based on real WWII gear. It’s not just run-and-gun either—some levels force you to think before blasting. The GBA’s tiny screen actually works in its favor here, making the close-quarters combat feel claustrophobic in a good way. By the end, you’ll have a new appreciation for Manon’s side of the story.
