Men In Black - The Series (Eurasia) (E) is a side-scrolling action game for the GBA where you play as an MIB agent blasting aliens. The first level throws you right into it - running through city streets, jumping over gaps, and shooting weird creatures with your standard-issue neuralyzer gun. The controls feel a bit stiff at first, like your agent moves in short bursts rather than smooth runs.
What stands out are the enemy designs - some aliens look like they jumped straight out of the cartoon, all exaggerated limbs and goofy faces. Others are just floating blobs that split into smaller blobs when you shoot them. The backgrounds are decent for a GBA game, with that slightly washed-out color palette the system was known for.
It's not particularly deep - mostly just run, shoot, repeat - but there's something satisfying about clearing a screen full of aliens before moving to the next area. Men In Black - The Series (Eurasia) (E) captures that Saturday morning cartoon vibe pretty well, even if the gameplay doesn't evolve much beyond the first few levels.
