Merubyiusu is one of those classic Flash shooters that looks simple but will wreck you if you’re not careful. You play as this little winged fox zipping through three stages, each with its own brutal boss waiting at the end. No health bar here—one hit and you lose a life, and you only get three. At least it lets you restart from the stage where you died, which is nice because trust me, you’ll need it.
There are four weapons scattered around, dropped by enemies, and figuring out which one works best for each situation is half the fun. The controls are straightforward—arrows to move, X to shoot, Z to switch weapons—but dodging bullet hell patterns while trying to line up shots gets intense fast. The first stage lulls you into thinking "this isn’t so bad," then the second one immediately humbles you.
It’s short, but the challenge makes it satisfying when you finally take down that last boss.
