If you ever wanted to feel like you're in the middle of a Beyblade anime battle, this PSP game gets weirdly close. You start by picking or customizing your top—I went with Vulcan Horuseus because, let's be honest, it just looks cooler—and then you're thrown into these fast, chaotic battles where the camera spins around like you're actually standing in the arena.

The controls take a second to get used to (mashing buttons randomly does not work, learned that the hard way), but once you figure out the timing for launching and special moves, it’s satisfying when your Beyblade knocks the other one clean out of the stadium. There’s something oddly addictive about tweaking your parts between matches to see what actually makes a difference—balance matters more than you’d think.

It’s definitely a niche game, but if you ever yelled “Let it rip!” as a kid, this one’s a fun little nostalgia trip.
