The graphics are barebones (it’s a Game Boy cart, after all), but there’s something hypnotic about the way the blocks clunk into position. I kept telling myself “one more level” until I realized I’d been stuck on stage 12 for half an hour. The music’s this repetitive chiptune loop that either gets under your skin or weirdly motivating—no in-between.
