Play Migrain (Japan) Online
You shove blocks around a cramped grid as the screen fills up, panicking when one wrong move locks everything in place. That repetitive chiptune soundtrack either drives you mad or pushes you to try again.

Game Overview
Migrain (Japan) – Game Boy
This weird little Japanese puzzle game feels like someone took a block-pushing mechanic and cranked the pressure up to eleven. At first it seems simple—just slide blocks around, right? But then the screen starts filling up, the timer’s ticking, and suddenly you’re sweating over whether to shove left or right before everything locks in place.
The graphics are barebones (it’s a Game Boy cart, after all), but there’s something hypnotic about the way the blocks clunk into position. I kept telling myself “one more level” until I realized I’d been stuck on stage 12 for half an hour. The music’s this repetitive chiptune loop that either gets under your skin or weirdly motivating—no in-between.
It’s the kind of game that makes you groan when you mess up but immediately hit restart. Perfect for short bursts, though maybe avoid playing it when you actually have a headache. The title isn’t lying.
