Moemon Revival Ruby is a GBA rom hack that replaces all the usual Pokemon with moe-style humanoid versions. It's still the same Hoenn adventure you remember, just with a very different aesthetic.

At first it feels a little strange seeing these cutesy characters pop up in battles instead of Pikachu or Torchic. But after a while, you get used to it, and some of the designs are surprisingly clever. The early game is mostly the same as vanilla Ruby, just with different sprites and some minor tweaks.

One thing I noticed is that the difficulty seems slightly higher than the original, though that might just be me getting used to the new visuals.
