Monsters Inc. for the Game Boy Advance came out in 2001, developed by Artificial Mind and Movement and published by Sony Imagesoft. It was part of that wave of licensed platformers that tried to capture the spirit of the film on a handheld, with all the constraints and charm that entailed.
You control either Sulley or Mike, switching between them to solve puzzles and sneak through the factory. Sulley can break down doors and scare energy cells, while Mike slips through small gaps and uses his one eye to peek under doors for hazards. The goal is to guide Boo safely back to her door while avoiding CDA agents; later levels introduce tense chase sequences where timing matters. It feels like a light, cooperative puzzle adventure with just enough tension to keep things interesting.
