Monsters Inc. on the Game Boy Advance came out in 2002, published by Disney Interactive. It was a solid platformer for its time, fitting right in with other licensed games on the handheld. You get to play through the movie's story, which was a pretty common setup back then.
You control both Sulley and Mike Wazowski, switching between them to use their unique abilities. Sulley can break obstacles and scare robots, while Mike is smaller and can fit through tight spaces. The main goal is to collect laughter canisters instead of screams, moving through factory levels, avoiding hazards, and solving simple puzzles. The pacing is steady, and the difficulty is manageable, though some sections require careful timing. It feels like a straightforward, cheerful adventure that captures the movie's energy well.
