Play Mr. Do! Online
Dig as a clown, drop apples on monsters, and chase letters for extra lives—this arcade throwback turns digging dirt into tense, puzzle-like chaos. That boomerang power ball never gets old.

Ocean Software brought Mr. Do! to the Game Boy in 1992, a portable version of the early 80s arcade game. It arrived during a time when many classic arcade titles were finding new life on handhelds, offering straightforward, action focused experiences without much narrative. The game doesn't try to reinvent its source material; it simply delivers the original's quirky charm in a form you could take anywhere.
You control Mr. Do, a clown who must dig through dirt filled screens to collect cherries while avoiding a variety of monsters. Your main tools are the apples you can dislodge from above to crush enemies and a power ball you can throw to temporarily clear a path or attack. The objective is to either collect all the cherries or spell out the word EXTRA by catching letters that appear, which grants an extra life. The pacing is frantic, with monsters becoming more aggressive as you progress, and the screen by screen structure creates short, intense bursts of play. It feels like a constant scramble to outmaneuver your pursuers while setting up traps.
