Mr. Do's Castle came out in the arcades in 1983 from Universal Co., Ltd. It was a time when developers were trying all sorts of ideas to stand out, and this one definitely had its own personality. You don't see many games where the main character is a cheerful clown in a dungeon full of angry unicorns.

You control Mr. Do, and your goal is to smash all the blocks on each screen to proceed. The main threats are the unicorns that chase you; you can temporarily stun them by dropping apples on their heads or by luring them onto a block you break, causing them to fall through the floor. The real tension comes from managing the collapsing floors, as you often have to quickly rebuild bridges with special blocks to avoid getting trapped or cornered. The pacing is frantic, demanding quick decisions under pressure. It feels like a tense, unpredictable puzzle where every move could lead to disaster or a narrow escape.
