Play Napoleon Online
You play as Napoleon healing your troops from the backlines—watching cavalry charge and artillery explode while you scramble to keep them alive on cramped battlefields. It’s chess with muskets, but your king’s just a guy in a hat waving bandages around.

Napoleon on the GBA is this weird little strategy game where history gets a fantasy makeover. You play as Napoleon himself—not swinging a sword or firing cannons, but hanging back to patch up your troops while they do the dirty work. At first, it feels like chess with muskets: you’ve got infantry to hold the line, cavalry to flank, and artillery to blow holes in everything. But then you realize the commander’s just… there, waving his arms like a battlefield medic with a fancy hat.
The goal’s simple: crush the enemy’s base. But the maps are tight, and losing a unit stings—especially when your heal-on-legs (a.k.a. Napoleon) is waddling too slow to save them. It’s janky in that early-2000s handheld way, but there’s something weirdly charming about micromanaging a tiny army while a historically inaccurate version of France burns in the background.
