Nebulus 2 is one of those sequels that doesn’t mess with what worked—you’re still Pogo, the little green guy climbing those impossible rotating towers while dodging enemies and weird traps. But this time, after you reach the top and topple the thing (satisfying as ever), you’ve gotta scramble back down, rebuilding 80% of the platforms before the whole structure collapses. It’s chaos, but the kind that makes you laugh when you barely make it.

The story’s goofy—some crime boss called "The Uncle" is holding oxygen-producing towers hostage, and instead of sending commandos, the government sends… a construction worker. Classic. The new gadgets help, though. Jumping boots save you from bad landings, rockets give you a boost, and magnets let you zip up to higher platforms when you’re stuck. There are also three weird little minigames between towers that feel like arcade distractions, but hey, it’s the 90s—everything had minigames.

If you liked the first one, this is more of that weird, frustrating, oddly charming climb with a fresh twist. Just don’t blame me when you get stuck on Tower 5 for an hour.
