Nebulus 2 is one of those sequels that doesn’t mess with what worked—you’re still Pogo, the little construction guy climbing these impossible towers while dodging weird enemies and traps. But this time, after you reach the top and send the whole thing crashing down (which still feels oddly satisfying), you’ve got to scramble back and rebuild most of it before moving on. The twist? Some crime boss called "The Uncle" is holding the towers hostage, and apparently, the galaxy’s solution is to send a guy in a jumpsuit with a pogo stick.

The new gadgets help mix things up—rockets give you a quick boost, magnets let you latch onto ceilings, and the jumping boots make some of those impossible gaps just barely possible. There are also these weird little subgames between towers that feel like arcade distractions, but honestly, I was just here for the climbing. The towers themselves are as devious as ever, full of moving platforms and enemies that seem to know exactly when you’re about to jump. It’s frustrating in that classic Amiga way where you’ll retry the same section a dozen times and still come back.

If you liked the first game, this is more of that, but with a little extra chaos thrown in.
