No-Limit's Space Crusaders is one of those old-school vertical shooters that feels like it teleported straight out of an arcade cabinet. You're piloting this little pixelated spaceship against waves of alien invaders, classic "save Earth" stuff, but with that satisfying chunky 8-bit charm.
At first it seems simple, just hold space to shoot, dodge with the arrow keys, but then you realize holding space charges up a bigger blast. Took me a few tries to stop spamming shots and actually time those charged attacks. The enemy patterns get mean fast, especially when those zigzagging purple ships show up.
Honestly, the real appeal is how unapologetically retro it is. No frills, just you, a tiny hitbox, and way too many bullets to weave through. Feels like playing on a CRT monitor with sticky arrow keys.
