Noah's Ark for the Nintendo Entertainment System came out in 1992, developed and published by Konami. It was one of those late-era NES titles that tried something a little different, a platformer built around a familiar story but with a very lighthearted, almost silly approach. You don't see many games based on biblical tales, and this one definitely leans into cartoonish fun rather than any sort of seriousness.

You control Noah, and your job is to gather all the animals before the flood arrives. The main gameplay involves moving screen by screen, using a slingshot to stun creatures like monkeys or kangaroos so you can pick them up and carry them back to the ark. Some animals will actually help you if you free them; others just get in the way or cause trouble. The pacing is fairly quick, and the difficulty comes from managing the often-unruly animals while avoiding projectiles and environmental hazards. It feels like a chaotic, slightly unpolished race against a rising tide of water and animal mischief.
